Pub: RAILWAY INN
Landlord:
Located adjacent to the car park of the railway station, this pub, has a fine reputation for looking after its beer. The pub maintains some of its original features with glass screens by the front door telling us at one time it sold “The City Brewery Ales”.
The City Brewery and St Annes Well Brewery were both owned by the Exeter Brewery of Norman and Pring Limited. As like so many regional brewers it was gobbled up in the 1960s by another name from the past: Whitbreads . Remember them?
The pub is a member of the local Darts League.
Facilities:
“L” shaped bar, with dart board.
At the front there is an outside seating area where you can people watch as they come and go about their business at the Railway Station.
