This Easter Teignbridge District Council is inviting children to turn detective and help uncover 'The Lost Treasure of Coombe' at Coombe Valley Local Nature Reserve in Teignmouth.
Rangers will be on hand to help the mini super-sleuths explore the nature reserve and follow clues that will lead them to the secret treasure.
The special treasure hunt event, which starts at Coombe Barn, will take place on Thursday 21 April from 11am – 12.30pm. Places cost just £3 and must be booked in advance by calling 01626 215751.
Sian Avon, Senior Green Spaces Ranger with Teignbridge District Council said:
"We are fortunate that Teignbridge boasts such a wealth of natural beauty and heritage to enjoy and learn from.
"This event is a great way to get children out and about and exploring their environment whilst having fun.
"Clues to the secret treasure will lead them around the nature reserve and could allow them to discover parts they may never have seen before.
"I would encourage everyone to come along and discover this wonderful bit of countryside on their doorstep."
Please note there is no parking at the site.
