Description THURSDAY 11th Aug: 10:00: 2.5hr Walk, Pilates Body Walk (Princetown) Brisk Walking with a difference - core stability, good posture and stretching, to promote fitness, flexibility and well-being. Details www.okehamptonshow.com . 10:00 -12:00: National Trust Young Bird Watchers. Plymbridge and the Upper Plym. A fun childrens walk in the woods, identifying all the different birds that live there. Meet at Plym Bridge, grid ref SX 524 585. Child - £4. Booking advisable with National Trust on 01752 341377. 11:00: Guided Walks at Higher Kiln Quarry. Buckfastleigh. Guided walks (1hr1/2 hr) to see the quarry and caves, with an opportunity to enter the famous bone cave and on site museum. Walks start at 11am and 2pm Wednesdays and Thursdays. Cost Adults £5.00, School age children £2.50 and £14.00 for family ticket, there is no need to book. Walks start from the William Pengelly Cave Studies Centre, Russet Lane. This is all pure craft, and the goods are made by the person on the stand that’s selling them. 13:00-15:00: East Dartmoor National Nature Reserve, Pirates of the Greenwood- Voyage of the Flycatcher The Captain needs your help, journey the Seven Seas, face your fears, uncovering mysterious tracks and decode cryptic puzzles.
