Folk festival in Teignmouth with numerous acts over three days with a fantastic atmosphere.


FRIDAY 17th JUNE

3.30 Folk Festival office open – Foyer of Carlton Theatre
8.00 – 11.30 Concert – The New Scorpion Band & Mary Humphreys & Anahata  – Carlton Theatre
8.00 -  late Music & Song Session – hosted by Eileen Ann Moore & Jim Parham at the South Pacific & Old Time Session hosted by John Kimble and friends at Courtenay Arms

SATURDAY 18th JUNE

9.30 am Festival office open – Carlton Theatre foyer
10.15  The City of Plymouth Pipe Band process from East Cliff
10.25  Dance teams procession from East Cliff Cafe
10.45   Official opening ceremony by Deputy Mayor Cllr. JamesMcMurray & Deputy Mayoress – The Teign Music Stage (Triangle)
10.45   Meet the Artists – Mary Humphreys & Anahata Carlton Theatre Bar
11.00 – 1.00 Morris, Border Morris & Appalachian dance displays inthe Triangle (see information boards for more details onwhere the dancers will be performing throughout the day).
