No visit to the South West is complete without a visit to Cockington.

Known the world over, the famous thatched, Domesday Book Village nestles deep within a hidden valley right in the heart of Torbay.

Steeping back in time, the Village is well served with Tea Rooms, Gift Shops, the fine Lutyens designed Public House and th 14th Century Forge.

Taking a leisurely stroll or a horse drawn carriage ride, continue on to Cockington Country Park. Passing the unusual cricket pitch and on towards the Court House, worth a moment to pause and embrace the peace and history.

The 420 acres of Parkland also offer formal Rose and Organic Gardens & Childrens Play Area. From both Village & Court, footpaths and trails radiate to glorious English Countryside. Take time to explore the Lakes, Plantation and Orchards, all of which are part of the wonderful Cockington Experience.

Cockington Court is the creative home to some of the best craftsmen & women in Devon.
Each Studio offers a warm welcome & a unique opportunity to interact with makers. Visitors can watch the Artists at ork, buy handmade wares and indulge in a delicious Devon Cream Tea.
