Export Customer Service Administrator

This role will be working with the Export Customer Service team and will be responsible for the administration of the department. Key duties will include:
•Responsible for ensuring all documentation is collated for external audit, including invoices, proof of delivery, shipping documentation, certification of origin and VAT documentation.
•Responsible for ensuring all export documentation is complete and collated for internal audits.
•Responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely posting of invoices to our customer base, as required.
•To assist in the inputting of orders onto the Sage system, as required.
•Responsible for the filing and archiving of all relevant documents including received fax orders, order acknowledgements, delivery notes, shipping documents, invoices and customer correspondence onto the db archiving system
•Responsible for entering relevant data onto the SDS (Shipping Documentation System) in accordance with the relevant Incoterms.
•Responsible for obtaining POD (Proof of Delivery) and COS (Certificates of Shipping) as required.
•To assist on the telephone lines as and when required.
To be suitable for this position you must:
•Have previous recent experience of working within an Export administrative role
•Be a highly motivated, organised individual with the ability to plan and prioritise a workload.
•Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal coupled with a high degree of accuracy and numeracy.
•Knowledge of intermediate Excel, Internet and email systems.
•The ability to work in a calm, methodical way.
•Knowledge of shipping documentation and Incoterms would be advantageous
